James O'Toole, baroque violin, folk-fiddle, viola

Jim co-founded the band Licence to Ceilidh in 2001, now one of England's premier folk bands. Descended from Irish stock, Jim finds the music from Ireland the most important influence upon his fiddling style. 

As a baroque player, Jim has recorded Vivaldi Concertos for La Serenissima, and plays with English Touring Opera, the Classical Opera Company, the Irish Baroque Orchestra.
